Lotenero, who illustrated
“Making
It Through the Maze,”
has been working professionally
as a painter, designer and illustrator
for almost 15 years. His work has
been exhibited in Pittsburgh, Cleveland,
Chicago, San Mateo and New York.
His illustration and design work
has been seen in Fast Company, Red
Herring, The Progressive and London’s
Computer Arts. He has won awards
from The Addys, Print’s Regional
Design Annuals, Step-by-Step Design
100, AIGA/Pgh, and Graphic Design
USA. Lotenero lives in Pittsburgh
with his wife and two sons.
Work

Gibbs, who created
the illustration for “Competing
Forces,” appears nationally
in books and magazines, on posters
and in corporate publications. He
has won awards from every major
peer organization, including the
Society of Illustrators, Communication
Arts magazine, American Illustration
and others. Gibbs lives in Clifton,
Va., with his wife and two children.
San
Francisco-based photographer Robyn
Twomey, who shot
Sheri Sheppard for this month’s
cover and for the profile “Opening
Doors,” spends her days
shooting all over the West Coast
for magazines like Newsweek, New
York, Wired and her favorite indy
rag, Mass Appeal. She is currently
working on a personal series about
female rappers from around the world.
While shooting the Prism story,
Twomey was thrilled to meet another
woman—Sheri Sheppard—in
a male-dominated field.
