Doctorate Enrollment UP

The number of doctoral degrees awarded in engineering has remained flat since 1999. The good news is that doctoral enrollment has increased markedly over the same timeframe from a total of 38,067 to 52,493. This 38 percent increase in enrollment should soon be reflected in the number of degrees awarded.
