Oakdale Engineering has recently released DataFit 7.0, a software tool enabling professionals in a wide variety of disciplines to easily perform statistical analysis and data presentation. DataFit is designed to determine if a relationship exists between two or more variables, describe the nature in the form of a mathematical question, then assess the degree of accuracy of prediction achieved by the equation.

Datafit 7.0 includes several enhancements from previous versions, like dramatic reduction in solution time, enhanced 2D and 3D plotting capabilities, data mining, enhanced data importing as well as enhancements to nongraphical macro features. Users can find the best-fit curve through sampled data points from Datafit's library of more than 350 pre-defined equations, as well as user-defined ones.

DataFit version 7.0 is available for $199 for a single-user license. Multi-user licenses discounts are available. For more information and a free 30-day evaluation copy, call (724) 693-0370 or visit
