Resort-casual dress is recommended for all sessions. Dress for
the picnic is casual or Hawaiian chic. The Annual Awards Reception
and Banquet are semi-formal; appropriate attire is expected.

OAHU AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
There are many ways of getting from the airport to your ASEE hotel
in beautiful Waikiki. Here are a couple options to make the quick
eight-mile journey.
- Airport Waikiki Express Shuttle (808 441-7800 ext 5) –
Ride in the comfort of full sized motor-coaches that depart from
the airport 24 hours (no reservations needed) a day to all Waikiki
Hotels. Forty-eight hour advanced reservations required for hotel
to airport transfers. Cost: $9 one way or $17 round trip
- Airport Taxi (808 861-8294) – Fresh, clean vehicles are
standing by to take you into Waikiki to begin your stay on the
islands. Fares to Waikiki hotels during non-traffic periods run
$30-$40.
 GETTING
AROUND OAHU
TheBus (808-848-5555). Oahu’s only transit system is a bargain
and considered one of the best in the country. Ride the bus to get
almost anywhere for $2 per ride for adults (19 and over) and $1
for riders under 18 (or those with a student ID regardless of age).
Bus transfers are offered and are valid for continued use within
a two-hour window from being issued (by your driver). Visitor passes
are also available for purchase. See routes and schedules on the

or stop by your hotel concierge or the Aloha Concierge Desk at the
Hawaii Convention Center.

– Official Airline of the 2007 ASEE Annual Conference &
Exposition
ASEE is pleased to announce United Airlines as the official airline
of its 2007 Annual Conference & Exposition. United Airlines

 Confirmation
The ASEE Housing Office will e-mail, fax or mail a confirmation
of your reservation within 72 hours of receipt of your request.
This is the only confirmation you will receive, DO NOT expect to
receive a confirmation from the hotel.
Blocks of rooms may be reserved initially under one company name.
A complete and final list of names must be submitted to the Housing
Office on or before Wednesday, May 23, 2007.
Housing assistance will be available after Wednesday, May 23, 2007,
but availability is limited. At this time housing will not be available
online and must be made directly with the ASEE Housing Office by
calling (703) 770-3916 or toll-free at (800) 860-5398.

Reservations are made in “real time” so that inventory
will be deleted from the rooming block. You may also revisit the
site and make necessary cancellations, date and name changes.
 Room
Deposits
All reservations require a $150 or a $200 deposit, depending on
the cost of the room. Reservations cannot be processed without a
deposit. Payment may be made by major credit card or check drawn
on a U.S. bank made payable to the ASEE Housing Office. Your credit
card will be charged immediately, and the deposit will appear on
the hotel room account at check-in. All reservations are guaranteed
for late arrival.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations and date or name changes must be received by
Wednesday, May 23, 2007. Deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable
after this date.
Hotels/Direct
Hotels cannot process reservation forms. Requests sent directly
to hotels or to ASEE headquarters will be substantially delayed.
If you need to make additional reservations, copies of the housing
form are acceptable. Mail or fax your list with payment information.
