There are three ways to register for the annual conference:

1. Online at www.asee.org/conferences/annual2005
   Please note: Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, or AMEX)
   and purchase orders are the only acceptable forms of
   online payment. If a purchase order is used as payment,
   a copy must be faxed to the registrar’s attention to
   (202) 265-8504 once online registration is completed.
   
   
2. Fax with credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or AMEX)
   information or purchase order (copy required) to the
   registrar’s attention, (202) 265-8504.
   
   
3. Mail check or credit card information to:

Faxes and Online registrations must be received by 11:59 p.m. of the deadline day, Eastern Standard Time. Mailed registrations must be postmarked by the deadline date.

All registration rates
All mailed registrations must be postmarked by the deadline date to be eligible for the applicable rate. Faxes and online registration must be received by 11:59 p.m. eastern time of the deadline day.

*Retiree Member rate
The ASEE Retired Member rate is a two-year experiment beginning with the 2004 Annual Conference and may not be available with future conferences. To be eligible for this rate you must be both (1) a current ASEE member in good standing and (2) you must have been in the Retired Member membership category as of Dec. 31, 2004.

Student rate
Students must present their current student ID at registration check-in. Students registering online are not eligible for the reduced registration rate.

Spouse/guest rate
Spouses/guests and children must be registered for the conference to participate in any conference event. The only exception is the Societywide Picnic (tickets for nonregistered individuals are $45). Another faculty member or peer is not considered a spouse/guest and must be registered as a full registrant.

Industry Day rate
The Industry Day rate is available only to members of industry who otherwise would not have attended the ASEE annual conference. This rate is valid only for Tuesday, June 14, 2005. ASEE members are not eligible.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of registrations and all ticketed events must be received in writing via mail at ASEE 2005, ASEE-Convention & Seminar Corp., P.O. Box 10819-C, Chantilly, VA 20153-0819; e-mail at registrar@asee.org; fax at (202) 265-8504 ON OR BEFORE MAY 18, 2005. A $50 processing fee will apply to all registration cancellations. Refunds will not be made for no-shows or for requests received after May 18, 2005. No exceptions will be made.

On-Site Registration
On-site conference registration will be outside Exhibit Halls B & C of the Oregon Convention Center. Attendees for Sunday morning workshops should check-in at registration Saturday afternoon.

Local Information Desk
A Portland information desk will be located in the Martin Luther King Jr. Foyer of the Oregon Convention Center. Stop by for suggestions on restaurants, sightseeing, and transportation while you’re in Portland.
