Confirmation

The ASEE Housing Office will e-mail, fax, or mail a confirmation of your reservation within 72 hours of receipt of your request. This is the only confirmation you will receive; do NOT expect to receive a confirmation from the hotel.

Blocks of rooms may be reserved initially under one company name. A complete and final list of names must be submitted to the Housing Office on or before Tuesday, May 12, 2005.

Housing assistance will be available after Tuesday, May 12, 2005, but availability is limited. At this time, housing will not be available online and must be made directly with the ASEE Housing Office by calling (703) 770-3916 or call toll-free at (800) 860-5398.

Online: To make your housing reservation online, please click here. Reservations are made in "real-time," so that inventory will be deleted from the rooming block. You may also re-visit the site and make necessary cancellations, date, and name changes.

Room Deposits

All reservations require a $100 or $140 (see specific hotel requirements in the table below) per room deposit. Reservations cannot be processed without a deposit. Payment may be made by major credit card or check drawn on a U.S. bank made payable to the ASEE Housing Office. Your credit card will be charged immediately and the deposit will appear on the hotel room account at check-in. All reservations are guaranteed for late arrival.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations and date or name changes must be received by Tuesday, May 12, 2005. Cancellations made after this date will result in the loss of one night's room charge plus tax.

Hotels/Direct

Hotels cannot process reservation forms. Requests sent directly to hotels or to ASEE Headquarters will be substantially delayed. If you need to make additional reservations, copies of the housing form are acceptable. Mail or fax your list with payment information.

General Housing Information

The following hotels are within walking distance of the Oregon Convention Center or are on MAX, Portland's mass transit light-rail line, which stops at the front door of the Oregon Convention Center 262 times per day! The Convention Center is located a short MAX ride from downtown Portland.
